The fascinating language of Ancient Hieroglyphs will be explored in this one day seminar. There will be an overview of the different types of Egyptian Writing, a look at the basic style of the language, learning the hieroglyphic alphabet, examining the concept of the language, touching on basic grammar and finally we will have a go at deciphering some hieroglyphic texts.

Can there be rational grounds for believing in God? Philosophers over the centuries have given various arguments to prove God's existence. In this day School, we will examine these closely, taking account of classical critics as well as some of the "New Atheists" (such as Dawkins et al).
