Jewish mysticism goes back at least to the time of the editing of the Torah in Babylon in the 6th century BCE. This course is a practical day school during which I shall introduce some Hatha Yoga postures and practice yoga breathing with you on a gym mat or a towel with shoes off. By this means we will locate on the body various characteristics of Adam Kadmon. S/he is essentially the "original" man/woman described in the first Genesis story.

Can there be rational grounds for believing in God? Philosophers over the centuries have given various arguments to prove God's existence. In this day School, we will examine these closely, taking account of classical critics as well as some of the "New Atheists" (such as Dawkins et al).
